What is Jango?

Jango is all about making online music easy, fun, and social – a free social music service that lets you create your own custom radio stations and share them with friends and others who like what you like.

Just type in what you want to hear – and your station will play the music you want along with similar favorites of other Jango users who share your taste. You can customize your stations further by adding more artists and rating songs.

You can also tune in to any other station playing on Jango. As you listen, your player will show other people listening to the same artist. You can “tune in” to any song they’re listening to, message each other or share your stations with others. Or just go to any Artist Page to see all songs by that artist you can tune in to at any given time!

Pentru inregistrare e nevoie doar de o adresa de e-mail si o parola. Odata intrati pe site, aflam cum arata un site de radio personalizat in secolul 21. Nu cred ca este o exagerare atata timp cat fiecare user isi poate introduce artistii favoriti, poate selecta piesele favorite, in functie de artistii alesi cei de la “jango” completeaza playlist-ul cu piese din acelasi gen de muzica, piesele sunt random evitand plictiseala de a asculta aceleasi piese in aceasi ordine, si cu cat alegeti mai multi artisti cu atat mai putin vor aparea cei “suplimentati” de la “jango”.

Pe scurt un loc unde, odata selectata, muzica preferata va fi disponibila pe orice calculator cu acces la internet.

Avantaje:

• nu mai trebuie sa cautati si sa stocati o gramada de mp3-uri;
  
• nu mai aveti probleme cu “copyright”;
• va puteti asculta muzica favorita de pe orice calculator nu doar de pe al vostru;
• foarte usor de administrat lista de artisti favoriti;
• posibilitatea ca prin ratigul pe care il puneti sa setati o piesa ca fiind favorita sau nedorita;
• poate fi creat propriul Jukebox (exemplu: pe coloana din dreapta jos am pus “Cyb3rk Radio Station” propriul Jukebox creat la “jango” pe care trebuie sa apasati doar pe “Popout jukebox” si poate orine asculta muzica selectata de mine)
• Jukebox-ul creat poate fi adaugat la orice site sau blog personal

are permite vizualizarea unor posturi TV online. Pana aici nimic deosebit, insa am inteles ca utilizeaza tehnologia p2p (Peer-to-Peer) si dupa spusele unora, in acest caz, cu cat sunt mai multi cei care “vizioneaza” online un post de tv cu atat se va vedea mai bine si mai fluent.
Ceea ce este cu adevarat deosebit la acest programel este faptul ca printre multe posturi mai mult sau mai putin cunoscute, se gaseste si … HBO Romania . L-am verificat si … chiar este HBO Romania. Singura diferenta fata de postul original este faptul ca are un decalaj de cateva minute (2-5 minute). Iata ca in situatia in care nu vreti sa scapati un film de pe HBO si nu sunteti acasa langa televizor dar aveti acces la net, puteti viziona programul fara probleme.
Dupa informatiile mele, tot aici vor fi transmise online si meciurile din Liga 1 care sunt televizate.

This will not be a regular blog. I don’t intend this, and as my page title say, will be my webspace. I hope you will join and make this place to be your webspace too. What i will post here? Answer is simple.
